Merchant Agreement

1. Merchant Onboarding & Store Validation

To maintain catalog integrity across [S]PIDERPIE, merchants must submit legal registration parameters before their storefront goes live. This includes a valid local Trade License, National ID (NID) scans, and matching financial settlement routing info (commercial MFS numbers or a corporate bank statement). Merchants guarantee that all products indexed are authentic, accurately priced, and currently in stock at their coordinates.

2. Fulfillment SLA & Steadfast Courier Pickups

We feature built-in geographical parcel dispatch. When an order drops, the merchant has up to 24 hours to package the lines and toggle the state to “Ready for Pickup”.

• Doorstep Handoff: Once updated, our logistics system automatically prompts **Steadfast Courier**. A rider will arrive at your designated store coordinates to collect the parcel.
• Packaging Standards: Merchants must pack items securely to survive transit and ensure branding rules are met.
• Stock-outs: Failing to fulfill orders due to unrecorded stock depletion will negatively affect your merchant health index and can result in listing limitations.

3. Cash on Delivery (COD) Collection & Payout Matrices

Since we run strictly on Cash on Delivery (COD), Steadfast Courier collects the total checkout cash directly from the consumer at the doorstep. The funds are initially routed to our marketplace clearing ledger. Once delivery confirmation is signed, the balance is isolated inside our network during our mandatory 48-hour customer dispute window.

Following the 48-hour clear, the platform commission fee is automatically deducted, and your net merchant revenue is instantly approved for disbursement. Payout cycles are executed twice weekly directly into your registered bank profile or commercial bKash/Nagad/Rocket account.

4. Returns, Delivery Liquidations, and Liquidated Failures

If a buyer registers a valid dispute within the 48-hour window (due to a defect or an incorrect item variant), the platform pauses vendor payment release. Steadfast Courier will execute a reverse pickup from the customer and return the stock to your store coordinates. If the dispute is confirmed as a seller sorting mistake, the merchant absorbs the reverse shipping costs. For standard customer change-of-mind failures before unboxing, the platform protects merchants by distributing the baseline return cost structure dynamically.

5. Evolution of Transaction Gateways

By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that [S]PIDERPIE will later integrate direct online Bangladeshi payment gateways. When automated digital checkouts launch, online payment transaction amounts will split natively at the point of purchase, reducing manual payout cycle delay windows for verified sellers.
